Turn your AI product intuition from using great tools into building great AI products
So a bit about me and Aman Khan and why we’re collaborating here. We actually focus on what we view as super different areas, but I see Aman as the expert on everything that has to do with building AI products in production - the fun parts and the hard parts. What Aman and I definitely share in common is that to really do that right, you have to have AI intuition. What does AI intuition mean? It’s a nebulous term - an intuition for what it’s like to be an end user of those behaviors, of those functions. Our thesis is: how do I turn that intuition I’ve built as a PM using great AI products in my day-to-day into the ability to lead a team that’s building a great AI product? We both believe that the intuition for being an end user is the step for building. The focus here is turning intuition for using AI prototyping tools into leading a team that’s building AI prototyping tools. Not necessarily a copy of Bolt, but think of the product you work on and your customer - there could be elements of Bolt and Lovable and V0 that make you think, “Wait, how do they do that?”That interaction, that magical feeling - how do they do that? Or how do I adapt that to my customer, to my context? Not necessarily building an AI prototyping tool for product and design teams, but it could be generating things, catching errors, or using AI to build something that runs independent of that AI.➡️ Great AI product intuition starts with being a power user. The “magic” feeling you get using tools like Bolt isn’t accidental - understanding how they create it is the first step to building AI products your customers will love.Check out Aman’s course (not sponsored, he’s just excellent).
